During winter, when the weather makes my skin a little dryer I love to amp up the hydration by using cream and liquid based makeup. These finishes help to create a dewy, fresh look, even when my skin may feel anything but.
Follow my step by step guide on how to create this look.
Step 1
Create a natural glowing base, that’s also going to hold all day by mixing Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place foundation with the warm toned Bronze Goddess Summer Glow illuminator and apply with a beauty blender, fingers or brush.
Step 2
Go over the brows with Estée Lauder’s Volumizing Brow Tint (I use dark brunette), which has both a strong hold so the brows stay in place and also a tint so you can opt to skip filling in with pencils.
Step 3
Using a brush apply Estée Lauder’s liquid Bronze Goddess Gelee bronzer to create a subtle contour of the cheekbones. Blending is your best friend and the key to contouring. Then apply more Bronze Goddess Summer Glow illuminator to the high points of your face; cheek bones, nose, under the brows and cupids bow.
Step 4
My new favourite 2-in-1 product is Estée Lauder’s Pure Colour Envy Blush Stick in Rose. Apply to the cheeks and then blend in with your finger. I then also apply to my lips for a natural colour enhancement.
Step 5
Finish off with the usual subtle winged liner with Estée Lauder’s Little Black Liner and a coating of mascara.
