I love a piece that can be worn more than one way. Do you remember this dress from my post back in October? Well something I left out was that you can move the straps around, cross them over and in this case remove them all together. If you thought this look couldn't get any more 90's well guess what! Surprise, it went there.
Pretty excited that AJE has opened a store in Brisbane, and in my home town of Carindale no less. I've always been fond of their dresses, they flatter the body so well. I particularly love this longer hemmed style with its high chiffon neck, low back and flowing details. A perfect holiday season option, thats for sure!
I picked up this tank and a few others in a store in Bali earlier this year. They're made out of this washed vintage fabric that pretty much sums up my idea of the perfect muscle tee. Pairing it with a leather pencil skirt and a heel and all off a sudden you've converted a casual piece into something a little more special. Easy.
I've fallen in love with this Scanlan and Theodore dress for summer. Its the perfect work/event/everyday dress that can be dressed up with a heel or worn with a flat during the day. I've also been told on numerous occasions that Scanlan does the best dresses, perfectly tailored and with beautiful fabrics. This is actually my first Scanlan and Thordore purchase, but as their pieces live up to their reputation I doubt it will be my last.
oh and if you didn't notice, I went a little shorter on my last visit to the hairdressers! What do you think?
None of the pieces in this outfit are new, but as they are perfectly me they will (and have) stayed the test of time. I bought this skirt off ebay I think 5 years ago? And the t-shirt was from a Zara trip that is i'm sure 18 months old. A Grey tank /T-shirt with a black skirt is my ultimate fall back, and paired with a statement strappy heel, and in my eyes the ultimate bag of my dreams I'm in one of my favourite outfits of all time. Its sometime the most simple outfits that make me happy.
