Vivienne Westwood was one of my favourite shows due to it being such an iconic London label. My favourite moment was the finale, with Vivienne Westwood herself (who will be 74 in April) leading the models all the way down the runway. The styling isn’t quite me, but that moment of knowing you’re witnessing something magical is what fashion is all about. Its when all the elements come together (hair, makeup, styling and sound) and it leaves you with an overwhelming emotion.
Collection inspiration: A girl born in the country who moves to London but brings with her the love for the environment, combining this with the city’s devotion to culture.
Hair Inspiration: “The Westwood look this season was inspired by the attitude and freedom of the RED LABEL girl. She’s tomboyish and intriguing, considered and well travelled, which gives her true originality and class” – Mark Hampton
Step 1: Apply TONI&GUY Prep Plumping Mousse to damp hair and blow-dry hair back from the face with the hair dryer.
Step 2: Once dry, apply TONI&GUY Creative Express Reboost Dry Shampoo to form a textured finish.
Step 3: Section the hair from temple to temple and secure this top piece of hair with a clip, leaving the back section loose.
With the back section, divide down the middle creating two pieces of hair. Roll the hair into itself on either side and secure with pins.
Take the top section of the hair and place down between the two rolls, and then connect the rolls together with pins.
Finish by spraying the look with TONI&GUY Creative Extreme Hold Hair Spray to hold it all together.
