With the shops mostly closed this long weekend its a perfect recipe for some serious online shopping!
Its the first day of the long weekend and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve been meaning to try a few ways of styling this Lover lace dress in more everyday friendly ways, and throwing a cosy knit over the top seems to do the trick. Either throw on a black pump (thinking my Saint Laurents) or an ankle boot (these Jeffrey Campbell‘s will work nicely) to make it dressy or casual.
When fashion becomes fun. I’ve seriously almost convinced myself a gold croissant clutch is a classic and timeless piece…
Sometimes you just want it!
This shirt is one of my favourite ever pieces. I can tell its going to be worn all throughout Autumn, Winter and Spring due to its turtle neck and sheer body, a complete balance between keeping me warm and also cool.
I feel like I have pretty much kept to my rule this year about saving up and buying the investment pieces rather than random goodies here and there. Nothing makes me quite as happy as knowing I am slowly ticking off my perfect wardrobe wish list. Thats one of the things I really want to express with my blog and my personal style of blacks, whites and greys, that you can have fun with trends and impulse purchases but to find your style and really build upon it is to have a thing called taste.
