Hope you've all had an enjoyable weekend! Sharing some snaps of my new alice McCall top that's part of the new drop hitting stores now. Its surprising (in a good way) stretchy which wasn't what I was expecting, but is perfect for this Australian spring weather thrown on with a pair of jeans. It also comes in black and in a dress version. x
I saw Columbine wear this Isabel Marant net dress layered under a knit a little while back and have become ridiculously obsessed with that hem line detailing. I then saw the same detailing pop up on Fanny Lyckman's blog, and i'm now tormented I cannot find anything similar. I need help. If you have come across ANYTHING like this please let me know. I'm usually pretty good with sourcing these things but when you search for 'mesh' & 'net' on the internet it pops up with lots of weird, and sheer things that don't exactly match my brief.
How can Lover make every time you put on one of their lace dresses a twirling, hair flicking and somehow romantic moment? The latest Persona collection that's now in store is as gorgeous as ever and there are lots of pieces I would like to get my hands on. They've also re-done their cute little silk and lace shorts again which are one of those pieces that sell out in seconds, I should really snap them up this time around.
I'm not the only one craving a pair of denim overalls right now. I saw an explosion of shots of denim overalls from New York Fashion Week, and by explosion I mean three. A completely allowed verdict especially when they're not a piece that can usually be found amongst your average wardrobe.
I've done a few posts on denim overalls but have never actually succumb to the purchase, mainly because I wasn't completely sure exactly how to make them look chic. With the above now successfully solving that problem I have my heart set on this pair on Topshop, but since the new Topshop store is opening this week in Sydney I thought I might as well give it a go in store first, and then if they're not there I'll purchase online. Problem solved!
